HISTORICAL PERFORMANCE DATA

This discussion of performance data references Blockdesk products which follow later in the course.  If this is your first introduction to our concepts, you may not understand this discussion until you have read through the product descriptions in this tutorial.

One simple, clear-cut way to measure the effectiveness of Block Trader Forecasts is to:

• Buy when a stock is at the bottom of the block traders' expected price range.
  
  
• Wait until the stock reaches the price that was at the top of the expectations range at the time it was bought or 26 weeks from the date of purchase, which ever comes first, and sell the stock.
  
  
• Look for the next opportunity and repeat this process

We call this the Keep It Simple Strategy (KISS).  The following table shows the Dow Jones stocks and their targets over 12 months (ended 9/23/99), compared with the results of buying and holding the same stocks over the same 12 months.
