BLOCKDESK'S 24-MONTH PERFORMANCE CHART

This table represents 2-year history data for forecasts (annualized), compared to returns for a buy-and-hold portfolio of the S&P 500 during the same time period (July 1998 through July 2000).

These returns are calculated using our Keep It Simple Strategy (KISS):

  • Buy when a stock is at the bottom of the block traders' expected price range (or below), once a week.

  • Sell when:

    - The stock price reaches the top of the block traders' expected price range when the equity was bought, or

    -
Six months from the original date of purchase, which ever comes first.

Returns on holdings under the KISS strategy are illustrated by the red bars in this chart, divided into the following 7 equity groups:

  • NON-S&P:  NYSE-listed stocks which are not components of the S&P 500

  • SMALL CAP:  All Blockdesk-monitored** equities which comprise the Russell 2000 index.

  • ALL BUYS:  All equities identified as buys by KISS and liquidated in accordance with KISS guidelines, regardless of equity group

  • NASDAQ:  All NASDAQ-listed equities

  • S&P 500:  All S&P 500 equities identified as buys by (and liquidated in accordance with) KISS

  • BIG CAP:  100 largest market caps of the S&P 500 and the 50 largest NASDAQ caps.

  • DOW JONES:  Stocks which are components of the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA)
