WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO
ABOUT BLOCKDESK.COM

was created to provide an efficient means of delivery to institutional investor customers for Block Trader Forecasts.  This information has been provided to the professional investor community since 1977 by Peter Way Associates.

This is the professional investment community's principal, and perhaps only, source of information about the value judgments and price expectations of equity block traders. The price volatility in equity markets makes this information one of the most important factors in stock buy/sell decisions.

The oldest, largest, and most useful body of stock price expectations in the investment business, it covers some 2,000+ widely owned stocks having deep and actively traded markets. Because it is produced from a model that has worked successfully for over 20 years, the data is highly comparable both across time and across companies.

makes it possible to share this information with individual investors on an economical basis. You now can access value insights formerly available to only a restricted few in the professional investment establishment.

The originator of this approach is Peter F. Way, who entered the investment community in 1958 with degrees from Harvard (MBA) and Wharton (BS, Economics). After six years of researching equity securities at a major investment counsel firm, he managed both conventional and quantitative investment research for eleven years at the nation's largest bank. He left them to found his own firm in 1975.

In addition to developing an entirely new class of investment information, he has managed investments for other professionals; arbitraged and made markets in stock and index options and futures; has designed and developed institutional information systems and investment products for professional investors.

Mr. Way is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, and is a past President of the Financial Analysts Society of San Diego. He is also past president of the New York Society of Junior Security Analysts, and has served on the editorial boards of the Financial Analysts Journal and the CFA Digest. He has written for Forbes magazine.
